Alor Dishari team came forward in flood relief

Panskura of Purba Midnapore District, is situated in the Banks of River Kangsabati. It is a flood prone area. In the month of September,2024, most of the villages of this area was affected by flood. To be with the flood victims of this area, we the members of Alor Dishari went to different villages of Panskura to provide flood reliefs to the marooned people. From Panskura Rly station, the distance of the villages was likely to be 10 KMs. As to ensure that the reliefs to be handed over only to the victims, we the members walked through the water logged areas in accepting all the odds of walking in the water logged strips of muddy roads. After walking this stretch of water logged muddy roads which was about 5 KMs, ultimately we reached to the doors of flood victims. We distributed about 100 Packets of food, drinking water and certain common medicines among them. In seeing the miserable conditions of flood victims , we had the feelings of guilty as we were not able to stay a few days with all these people who were taking the main role of producing foods for all of us.
